Ecowitt GW1203 WiFi Gateway 6-in-1 Ultrasonic Sensor & Rain Gauge Weather Station

The Ecowitt GW1203 weather station consists of the ultrasonic wind, temperature, humidity, solar radiation and UV sensor, the WiFi gateway (GW1200) and self emptying rain gauge making an advanced sensor set for those that want an expandable weather station with full internet access.

The sonic anemometer sensor pack measures temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, UV level and Solar intensity. 

The separate rain sensor measures rain fall and is self emptying for easy of use and includes anti-bird spikes and a metal debris filter.

The GW1200 WiFi gateway is USB powered and also has builtin temperature, humidity and barometric pressure sensors for indoor readings.  These sensors are placed on a wired probe so that they can be kept away from sources of heat which would skew readings. The GW1200 gateway is also Internet of Things (IoT) ready and is able to control a variety of water valves and smart plugs from Ecowitt.

This gateway data, along with the outdoor sensor data is uploaded to the Ecowitt online service via WiFi and is used to calculate rainfall rate, wind chill, dew point and heat index. All of this can be viewed on the App, or Ecowitt weather website via a browser.

You are not just limited to weather data on the Ecowitt weather site or App, you can share your data further afield with free access to The UK MetOffice WoW service, Weather Underground, WeatherCloud and your own web server.

Product Warranty

2 year warranty from date of purchase from January 2025, 1 year on purchases before this date - return to supplier. Batteries are excluded from warranties as they are classed as a consumable item.
